Friday Night Welcome Drinks & Dinner
Let’s not pretend this isn’t the best part. The overture. The soft open. That precise moment before the machinery of ceremony begins to hum—when everyone is still a little sunstruck, not yet fully aware they’ve left their real lives behind.
You’re invited to Midwood Estate on Friday evening, where we’ll commence the long, slow slide into revelry with drinks that flow (but not in a reckless way) and food that has been painstakingly curated to suggest effortlessness. The menu? A tribute to Dash and Audrey’s shared palate, which, as it turns out, is more refined than yours and more cosmopolitan than mine. Expect flavor. Expect flair. Expect, in a word, Dim Sum.
The dress code is “garden party,” which, in practical terms, means: make an effort, but don’t sweat. Think soft fabrics, sharp lines. Shoes you can walk in. Outfits you can justify in photographs ten years hence.
Parking is available. Ubers are out there, humming quietly in the dark. No one will be left stranded, not unless they choose to be.
And so it begins. A night to meet, to drink, to eye one another up with the gentle suspicion reserved for fellow guests at a wedding. Dash and Audrey will be there, radiant and faintly stunned, as all betrothed people should be.
We’ll see you there. Don’t be late. (But if you are, make it look intentional.)
